Cumbria Grey Slate porcelain tiles take their inspiration from Burlington, an English stone. This is one of the finest stones of sedimentary origin in the world, particularly popular with architects, designers, and design engineers for its hardness, beauty, and functional appeal. Cumbria Grey takes these features on board and turns them into a wonderful tile extremely faithful to the original material creating a wonderful natural and subtle appearance.
Also available in an external grip finish tile 1200 x 600 x 10mm so you can flow your floor externally.

All large format tiles can have a slight curvature, this is perfectly normal and within industry standards. If you are laying “brick bond” they should not be half bonded but 30% of the length.
Rectified means the tiles have been machined to size following the firing process, however tiles from different production batches can vary so please ensure that you order sufficient tiles with an allowance for waste (normally 10%).
As with all ceramic tiles slight shade and dimensional variation should be expected between both batches and sizes of tiles. We do not recommend mixing sizes.

It is sometimes difficult to decide from a free sample particularly with tiles having subtle variations such as Marble Effect Tiles.
